Choose the right hair type

We all have different hair types and choosing the right one for you is important as it will determine how the extensions will feel and look. Have a look at some of the differences below:

European and Malaysian Hair: These are great choices if you have fine hair, favoured by Caucasian woman as the hair types are light in density and can take colour very easily.
Brazilian Hair: This hair type is extremely versatile and is often chosen by Mediterranean, African, Caribbean and African/American woman as the hair comes in all different styles such in naturally straight, wavy very curly/spiral curls. Brazilian hair is medium to thick density and is also a good option for Caucasian women who have medium density hair and want to add allot of volume.  
Indian Hair: Indian hair is fantastic for women who have naturally thick dark hair. After washing indian hair it usually goes quite wavy which gives amazing natural volume and texture, Indian hair can be used by all hair types as it can be easily manipulated from very straight to very wavy.

2.Wash hair in sections and twist each section after washing

3.Pre-poo(saturate hair in oil or conditioner and put on a shower cap for 15-30 minutes before shampooing)

A new kind of braid

An inverted fishtail braid is a great way to make your fishtail braid pop! And it feels trendier and edgier than the French one! It’s a great hairstyle for any occasion, if you wear it during the day, you can keep it neater; if you’re going out at night for a dinner or a party, you can pull on it more to make it bigger and messier to give it that edgy, trendy feeling. Follow these steps to achieve the look.

1. Pick up two strands of hair high up on the crown of the head.
2. Take a piece of hair from the left strand, cross itunder, and join it with the right strand.
3. Take a piece of hair from the right strand, cross itunder, and join it with the left strand.
4. Take a piece of hair from the left strand again, cross it under, and join it with the right one.
5. Now take a piece of hair from the left, next to where you originally picked up hair; also cross this piece of hair under, and join it with the right side.
6. Do the same on the other side.
7. Continue like this all the way down until you have incorporated all the hair. Then make an inverted fishtail braid without adding hair. Remember to continue to cross the strands of hair under and join the opposite side.
8. Pull on the braid to add volume.

Non-remy hair

Non-remy hair is hair that collected from the floor of temples, salons and random suppliers. With this type of collection method, cuticle directions become mixed, causing inevitable shedding, tangling and matting problems.

To mask the problems that will arise with non-remy hair, hair suppliers will use harsh chemicals to strip the cuticles completely and then apply a large amount of silicone coating to make the hair appear soft and silky. The hair initially feel silky and soft, however, after few washes the silicone coating wears off and the hair feels very brittle and starts matting and tangling.

Problems will arise with non-remy hair after a few washes and will not last beyond a few washes and cannot be reused. Also, since the cuticles are stripped and not intact, the hair extensions are unable to tolerate color treatment or heat.
